When life gives you lemons...
This morning has been different from most. Upon waking, I did my daily prayer, read scripture, and went to water my garden where I was greeted by my neighbor. We exchanged a few words, making sure to keep more than six feet between us, and then he gave me a bag of lemons!
It made me think, will the world ever be the same again? Will we ever be able to be around people again? Will I be able to go back to my job? These questions bring with them curiosity and anxiety, so I stop asking them?
Why?
For myself, my anxiety stems from a lack of trust and in this situation I lack trust in GOD! As a Christian, that just seems unacceptable. I am shooting myself in the foot by that thinking. It's important to remember that no matter what, you are right where God wants you, even if it's in the middle of a global pandemic.
The LORD Himself says, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11
The difficult situation you are going through right now could be the catalyst for something great in the future. God could be teaching you a very important lesson right now. So make sure to always look up and know that there is a rainbow after every storm.
