A perfect dessert recipe for a date with a special someone.

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoons non-alcohol champagne
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cocoa powder for rolling
  • Chocolate melts for coating, optional

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add cocoa powder and mix until smooth. Add in sweetened condensed milk and mix until the mixture smooth and thick, about four minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Then pour into a large bowl and allow to cool to room temperature. Add champagne and stir. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for 4-5 hours or until firm
  3. Once cooled completely, taking a tablespoon of the mixture, roll it into a ball, then roll in cocoa. Place on a parchment paper lined sheet or plate and refridgerate for 1-2 hours or until firm.
