Chocolate Truffles

 A fun Valentines Day treat for you and that special someone

  • 9 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 9 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 1  can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Toppings: chopped nuts, chocolate melts, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or shredded coconut


  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. 
  2. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Then pour into a large bowl and allow to cool to room temperature. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for 2 hours or until firm. 
  3. Once cooled completely, taking a tablespoon of the mixture, roll it into a ball, then roll in the toppings of your choice
  4. . Place on a parchment paper lined sheet or plate and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until firm.
